Glass blowing is a glass forming technique which was invented in the 1st Century.  The blow pipe was invented in the 1820's.  Well known, local glass artist, Peter Patterson, will give us a personal tour of his Studio, Gallery and Hot Shop, to be followed by a live demonstration  as he creates a Blown Art Glass Piece.  For those who want to give it a try, for $35 you can choose your own colors and be taken through the steps to create your own unique Art Glass Piece.

Dress code for those working with hot glass:  Long pants and closed toe shoes.

​

Note:  Pieces will not be ready to take home the same day as they need to cool down for 24-48 hours.
